PRIVATE EVENTS

St. JOHN is available to hire for exclusive use, either in its’ entirety or just the dining room or bar separately (see the Bar page for more information on bar based events).

Whether you’re planning a wedding reception or corporate event, our managers are very experienced in the organisation of private events and can arrange food and wine tastings, assist with floral arrangements, music equipment hire and other entertainments.

The dining room at St. JOHN can accommodate up 110 guests for a formal ‘sit-down’ reception or up to 150 for a more informal event. Between the bar and the dining room we can cater for up to 160 guests for champagne and canapé type events.

We hold a late licence for private events and our bar can serve up to 2.00 am Monday to Saturday.

For those wishing to arrange a three or four course menu, choices can be taken from either our feasting menus or we can discuss a bespoke menu for your event depending on seasonal availability.
